Salon results from home.

BaByliss is known for its hair styling products and pride themselves on their products ability to create salon-quality results for both professional and at-home use, while BaByliss PRO is made exclusively for salons.

Creating confidence with each new product.

As new products are launched, creating hype around new hair possibilities is essential. It’s not just about hair, it’s selling the feeling of confidence and empowerment that you get when you leave the salon but for every day. Packaging design is extremely important as they need the models to promote the perfect hairstyling experience whilst giving people the real possibility that anyone can achieve this from their own home.

Cohesive collections on-brand.

To achieve the on-brand look for both BaByliss and BaByliss PRO, a strict style guide was followed. This included matching colours and contrast with all imagery that appeared in the same collection and fixing imperfections in Photoshop that happened on shoot like creases in clothing, flyaways that looked unnatural around the hair and any obvious skin blemishes. All of these things created a cohesive look for each new collection, making the brand cohesive and attractive to the consumer.

Revolutionary products = relentless launch preparation.

When the wireless straightener was created and ready for launch, marketing efforts were higher and the raw photos from the shoot needed to look identical; like they were from the same collection. Lighting is different for the outside and inside shots so a lot of adjustments were made to create a harmonious set of photographs, ready to launch the 9000 Cordless Straightener.

Session to Salon.

Stylists have the skills and knowledge to use products to their highest potential and make them work WITH them as a professional, not FOR them. When designing for BaByliss Pro, Session to Salon was one of the key events that needed promotional materials including POS advertising with schedule information for masterclasses at the seminar. The image styles used are a range of clean and minimal model shots that highlight the hair or event photos of the stylists in action and their work on select models.

“Kirsty is fast and efficient. She thinks about what she does and suggests alternative options/gives her opinion for solutions, which is really helpful! She’ll come around to check that we have what we need and it’s all ok, which is also really appreciated.”
