As Showcase was scaling rapidly and the brand was becoming a classical music industry staple, they needed a visual identity that felt as bold as their mission. They’re all about showcasing artists with authenticity and wanted a rebrand that was clean and direct but also punchy and premium.
Agents represent talent. Showcase represents character.
To design for Showcase I needed to remember their tagline and use that as the centre. Using clean lines and bold typography with inspiration taken from Berlin design, the final identity embodies Founder Poppy’s mission to create beautiful, modern and authentic websites and showcase incredible artists talent with confidence.
Disrupting the industry.
For Founder Poppy, Showcase is about standing up for classical musicians, especially those who have been mis-treated. The complete brand identity needed to be different and stand out within an industry that could be described as rigid. Showcase is the start of the change and adaption that the classic music industry craves, which is represented with a modern block style.
